Temptation by Missoni

I had posted here that I was a little hesitant about the Missoni for Target line.  But that still didn't keep me out of a Target store today.  My curiosity got the best of me and I couldn't help but wonder if my hidden lil Target here in Des Moines (this Target keeps the Go International items much longer than most Targets due to lack of consumer interest) would have some items left.  They did, but very few.  The sweater I wanted was sold out, and actually most clothing items were, as well as a plethora of the house hold items, but I did manage to find my second choice (and there was an abundance!)  This bra and panty set is oh-so pretty and I love the idea that I'm not going to see it coming and going like a bunch of the uber popular pieces.  Did you get anything from the Missoni for Target line? Thoughts?

A Random Babble on Missoni

In the past week it has been announced that Missoni is the latest guest designer for Target's Go International line.  Much like Calypso St. Barth, the collection will feature a mix of household items and clothing.  When I first heard about the colleciton, I let out a little yelp of excitement, but ater mulling over this, I'm not sure how I feel about it.  Am I going to be annoyed when I walk down the street and see five other girls wearing the same very distinctly printed dress?  I'm also wondering if the powerful patterns going to translate to the average audience?  Without the astounding craftsmanship that makes Missoni, Missoni, are the prints going to look cheap?  As you can see, I'm slightly apprehensive about this one.  But I think it's because I love Missoni so much, and I'm hoping that it lives up to my expectations.   What are your thoughts? Am I being rediculous?
