Pretty Editorials

There aren't many things more zen than curling up with a magazine and a cup of tea.   My magazine obsession started at an early age, and for as long as I can remember, they have been my perfect little distraction - shorter than books, but still a slight escape from reality.  My current monthly reads include Vogue, InStyle, and Elle... But thanks to websites like Fashiongonerogue.com, I'm able to see editorials and fashion campaigns I wouldn't normally see.  Below are some of my favorite shots from some magazines I don't have the pleasure of reading on a monthly basis.

Pretty Pictures

I'd be completely drawn to these pictures even if they weren't of Kate Moss.  But lets be honest, she makes them that much better.   Loving the laid back, vintagey feel.  And somehow, they just feel autumnal.  Loving how these outfits reinforce the basics in way that's fresh.  Remind me to pull out of storage (or purchase) the following.

Animal Lover

Amanda Seyfried's shoot in April's issue of Elle is in a word - remarkable.  Not only does she look flawless, she's holding a plethora of baby animals. The combination of her couture clothing, striking beauty, and the cuteness of all these critters has me on sensory-overload!  Very Brigitte Bardot, wouldn't you agree? (think blond beauty kissing a fawn.)  And, just a side note - I'm loving the whispy frizziness that has become so in as far as hairstyles go, it looks so natural and beautiful, I'm going to have to figure out how to get my stick-straight hair to do that.  The shoot was styled by Joe Zee and photographed by Alexei Hay.

Beach Break

This is where my mind has been the last few days.  I need of a vacation - and what awesome looks to rock while playing in the sand!  There's something about the sun, water, and killer style that  just causes me to day dream...
