Necklaces are to ensembles as deserts are to dinners - you don't need them, but when done right they can take things from ordinary to extraordinary. When I saw the first picture below, I loved how it took a seemingly preppy, bland look, to glamorous and youthful. I am a big fan of statement necklaces, and try to transform outfits the same way.
