Wooed by Woottons

I'm usually really good about giving gifts.  It does feel wonderful to find that perfect little something for someone and know that they'll love it.  But this year, I'm just a little too focused on something I want for myself.  These Stubbs and Wootton slippers have been on my radar for quite some time (I first read about them in Rachel Zoe's book Style A to Zoe).   I've ran across them again and again, and I'm thinking they are something I really would wear.  A lot.   They come in velvet and linen, are all hand embroidered and the best part is you can custom design your own.  Oh the possibilities!  What are you planning to splurge on post-Holidays?

  1. I don't know about these shoes. I guess anything grows on us if we see it often enough but the fashion should also be flattering. When I see them, all I can think of is 'marketing phenomenon', like silly bands. But if you are so amped up about getting them, please don't wear them with skinnies. You'd be only a kitten heel away from looking like Motzart. There... :)

  2. These shoes definitely aren't for everyone, I agree. But I must say they might be the opposite of a "marketing phenomenon", in that I half liked them so much because I have never seen anything like them, and don't know anyone that has them! It's not like I'm wanting them because they're Stubbs and Woottons, the way some people want handbags that have little LV's all over them. I think they are completely classic and will be an easy go-to. I do see where you're coming from but have to say, I like these for what they are, not because they're a fab. Thank you for the comment though, I love honest opinions! x

  3. Oh, no, didn't mean it that way. I didn't even know who Stubbs and Woottons was till this blog :) I meant that they are in a lot of style&fashion sources these days. I am sure you'll make them look super cute, even to me :)
BTW, phenomenal blog. One of a few with not only style, but soul and substance, too.
